Shared Flats

We have an extensive database of shared flats whose owners accommodate Alicante University students, both Spanish and/or other international ones.
Accommodation is offered in single rooms, with shared bathroom and kitchen facilities alongside other international students (usually between three and five students per apartment) and all include internet access. All flats are located in the city centre of Alicante and are well connected to the university campus by public transport, tram, or bus.
Prices depend on the characteristics of each flat, ranging from €350 to €450 per month per room (individual), not including utilities'bills, (water, electricity, gas, etc.)

Homestay

This type of accommodation offers you the possibility of learning more about Spanish culture and practising your Spanish outside the classroom. The families registered with our service have many years of experience and know exactly how to communicate with students from all over the world and make the student feel like one of the family. Each host family may accommodate a maximum of three students at the same time, always guaranteeing an individual room for each student.

All our families live in Alicante city and within easy access to our Campus by public transport.

Homestay Terms

University Halls of Residence

We offer accommodation in the University Halls of Residence at special conditions and/or rates for students at our Accommodation Service.

All Halls of Residence we work with are located very close to our Campus.

         

Additional Information

All our accommodations are offered in single rooms by default. However, upon the student’s request, other accommodation options, such as double rooms, may also be available subject to availability. All rooms are fully equipped with the necessary furniture to ensure a comfortable and functional stay, including a bed with pillow, bed linen, desk, chair, lighting, wardrobe, etc.

Depending on the type of accommodation selected, students may have access to a private or shared kitchen for self-catering, or choose different meal plans, such as half board or full board.

Living with host families, in university residences, or in shared apartments provides an excellent opportunity to promote the learning of Spanish and a deeper understanding of Spanish culture. Through everyday life, students can naturally become familiar with local customs, such as meal schedules, ways of living together, and cultural traditions. Maintaining an open-minded attitude, participating in daily conversations, and sharing experiences with others not only helps students practice the language, but also encourages a richer integration into Spanish life and culture.

If students request two different types of accommodation throughout their stay, the second administration fee will be €50.

If students ask for more than an extension of their stay in the same accommodation and this change is not related to a change of registration in a course or work placement at the university, they have to pay for €50 as administrative fee.
