The spaces allocated by the University of Alicante for language teaching at the Centro Superior de Idiomas are located across various buildings and lecture blocks on campus. The classrooms benefit from good lighting and ventilation, the acoustics are appropriate, and the temperature can be regulated either within the room itself or via a centralised system for the entire building. The classroom layout encourages communication, interaction, and constant exposure to the language because it is flexible and adaptable; most spaces feature movable tables for pair work, group work, or sitting in a circle. There are also open areas for other class dynamics, role-plays, and communicative activities. The furniture arrangement ensures students can see and hear each other easily, fostering cooperative learning. In classrooms designated for exclusive use, visual and linguistic materials can be displayed—for example, posters with common vocabulary, useful expressions, maps, and other resources. Furthermore, the classrooms are equipped with the following technological resources: a projector, audio equipment for listening exercises, internet connection for authentic resources (videos, podcasts, songs), and a Wi-Fi network to facilitate access for students' laptops, tablets, or mobile devices.

Being a student of Spanish at our Language centre allows you to use all the campus libraries, especially the General Library, which is the academic heart of our university. This is the perfect place to study, do research, and find all the resources that you need for your courses.
The General Library has a great variety or reading and working rooms for your individual study, as well as working rooms for groups equipped with large desks and whiteboards. Our Spanish courses have their own section there, where you will be able to find a vast collection of books, magazines and specialized material for learning languages.
You can find the Spanish as a Foreign Language resources in the Filosofía y Letras library, which has free access and is located on the 2nd floor.
