During registration period, everybody, both University of Alicante students and external students, will have to complete an on-line registration form at Preregistration ACLES and y will receive two emails
1^st.- The first email will have a preregistration reference code.
2^nd.- A few hours later, or the following day, you will receive another email with a user and password to be able to log in your . own Virtual Campus (UACloud).
If you already have Virtual Campus (UACloud), because you are or have been an Alicante University student, your will receive a second email with your Virtual Campus user, but the password will appear as a blank space. You can Access Virtual Campus using your usual password and start self-registration for the language certification examinations. If you cannot remember your password, please follow the instructions that appear below UACloud at “I cannot remember my password”.
Once you have the user and password, you can already register.
It there appears the error “You do not have a prior appointment”, that is because you have not received the second email. Please, wait until you receive your second email.

In order to register, you will have to write your user and password at www.ua.es (click on UACloud at the top right corner of the screen).
Inside UACloud, you must choose the icon “Registration”:
Inside “Registration”, click on “start/modify registration”. Later, click on , and click on Self-registration.
You will have to follow all these steps. The subject is called PNB1 and on one of the last screens, you must choose the language level of the ACLES examination you are registering on.
When you finish, you will have to click on “Fees payment” where you will have the fee details in a pdf, YOU CANNOT MAKE A STANDING ORDER of this payment. You can pay the fees online if it is available or print the payment receipt and pay for it at an ATM which can read the barcode or pay at the teller desk in any of the banks which appear in the instructions below that receipt. Once the fees have been paid within the period indicated in the receipt it is not necessary to send the payment receipt.

If you are entitled to any type of discount or any special needs to do the examination, you must attach the corresponding certificates at preregistration so that we can assess if it is possible to apply them. You will receive an email confirming if the discount has been included or not in your record, and then you will be able to register.

Pay attention: the examination is called PNB1, even if you are registering to do the B2 or C1 examinations. On Virtual Campus, it will appear a fewer-than-200-hour subject.

Since 2014, Alicante University, through the Language Centre, has been recognized as an ACLES (Association of University Language Centres) centre for Certification Examinations in the following levels and languages: B1, B2 and C1 (English).

Examination fees (B1, B2, C1): €78.20. We recommend you visit this website regularly in case there are any changes in the dates for reasons beyond our control.

In accordance with Decree 61/2013, published at DOCV on 20/05/2013 those who pass these examinations will have them recognized by the University of Alicante and for competitive examinations (check the application requirements), other public examinations, and so on, inside the Valencian Region.
Additionally, these examinations are also recognized by the CRUE (Conference of Spanish Universities’ Rectors) so that they can be certified at Spanish Universities.
