SIELE Examination

The SIELE Examination certifies the command of the Spanish language to youngsters and adults who have Spanish as a foreign language, their second language or their mother tongue. It was created in 2016 and was launched and supported by IC, UNAM, USAL and UBA, guaranteeing the strong presence of the linguistics varieties of Spanish. It offers the possibility of doing a full exam with four sections/skills (reading comprehension, listening comprehension, writing and written interaction, and speaking and oral interaction) or only some of the sections/skills if candidates want to certify partial competences of the language. Both the exams and their process are done electronically, at an exam centre and through an advanced appointment system. Candidates will receive their results in a maximum of three weeks and they will be able to print their certificates or reports through the app.

Why should I certify my Spanish with SIELE?

SIELE is created by Cervantes Institute, Mexico National Autonomous University, Salamanca University, and Buenos Aires University. Alicante University is one of the 75 associated universities.

4. Agile

Forget about waiting for long. In a maximum of 3 weeks, you will receive an email notification informing you that your results are available. You will be able to access the private area of siele.org to know your results and download your certificate or report, depending on the type of exam chosen. This way, you will obtain a verification code which you will be able to present in different processes with companies and universities around the world.

5. Multilevel

SIELE allows candidates to know apply for the level requested in each programme thanks to the grade obtained. Additionally, you will never fail and will always obtain a certification level.
