How to find the UA subjects you want.
You have 2 options to find UA courses:
- You can consult the full range of degree courses offered in English or Spanish by clicking on the following links:
ENGLISH: https://web.ua.es/en/vr-ric/courses-in-english.html
SPANISH: https://web.ua.es/en/official-undergraduate-degrees.html - You can click on the link Subject Search (ua.es), and search for the subject by name, code, syllabus or subject characteristics:
Pay attention to the academic year that appears on each website.
Make sure you are looking at the subjects and timetables for the correct academic year.
Once you click on "Search", a list of subjects that meet your search criteria will appear below.
Click on the subject you would like to study and check which fulfill your requirements.
Once you are on the webpage of the subject, click on “Groups” and check:- When the subject is taught in "Semester" (1S or 2S), the semester must coincide with your enrollment at the university. (In the example below you can see 1S, FIRST SEMESTER or term).
- Which group is taught in English under "Language" and then note down the number of the "Group" (GR). (In the example below you can see it is Gr. 77= group 77).
You will have to do this for all the options that appear on the following website:
- On the horizontal menu, beside “Groups”, click on “Timetable”. Select the number of all the groups given in English, on the lower part of the page the subject timetable will appear. Click on the “Export to iCal” button. You will have to attach the downloaded file once you submit the form for your Elective Courses. You will also have to indicate the name of the subject, the subject code and the semester.
VERY IMPORTANT:
Write down the name of the subject, the code and download the iCal of your groups to verify that YOU DO NOT have an overlap between the selected subjects and the schedule of your Spanish language courses when you submit your course selection through the Electives Form.
