The placement test (steps 1 written placement test and 2 level confirmation and advising by a teacher) is completely free of charge and with no obligation.
1st Written placement test (online)
If the student has not previously taken any course at AULAS, they must take an initial written placement test to determine their level of English. This test must be completed during the registration period. Oral level confirmation by a teacher is mandatory.
2nd Level confirmation and advising from a teacher at the school
Once the written test is completed, you will receive an email with a link to book a time slot to speak with a teacher from the center (online or in person). An oral test is required to complete the registration process.
What does the level confirmation consist of?
- It is a brief oral interview with the teacher.
- It takes between 5 and 10 minutes.
- Choose a date and time among the available slots.
- Choose between in-person (UA campus) or via video conference (Google Meet or Zoom).
- If you have chosen the online test, you will receive an email with the access link to the video conference at the email address you registered with. Your test could take place anytime from the indicated start time up to half an hour later, depending on the number of students; therefore, it is advisable to be available during a 30-minute window from the estimated time.
3rd Complete your registration (online)
Once your level has been confirmed, you will receive an email with your confirmed level and a link to the registration form.
