1. Attendance
Students must achieve a minimum of 80% attendance to be eligible to take the final course exam. No justification is required except in cases of absence on the day(s) scheduled for the final exam.
2. Level Change
During the first sessions of the course, AULAS teachers (AULAS) may recommend level changes to students to ensure maximum benefit from the courses. Changes will be made with the approval of the teacher and the Head of Studies.
3. Assessment
Students must complete the assignments set by the teacher by the established deadlines throughout the course. In addition, to pass the course, students will take both a written and an oral exam at the end of the course, which will determine their final grade. The grade will be PASS once 60% of the total is achieved, or FAIL otherwise. Each AULAS course has only one exam session; there are no multiple calls per year—the student takes a single exam at the end of the course.
4. Student Support
If a student encounters difficulties or issues working with class materials, they may consult any of the teachers during student office hours. These hours are posted on the door of the Teachers' Room and on the website (Faculty and Tutorials).
5. Official Exams
AULAS courses for preparation for official exams from the University of Cambridge, the Goethe-Institut, the French Ministry of Education, and TOEFL® do not in any case correspond to the official certificate issued by the aforementioned institutions. These qualifications are obtained only by taking the free exam at the corresponding examination center.
6. Students with Special Educational Needs
Students with SEN must inform both the teacher and the Student Support Center so that appropriate measures can be taken for the proper functioning of the course.
7. UA Scholarship Recipients
Beneficiaries of UA scholarships are required to comply with class attendance and assessment test requirements. Failure to meet these requirements entitles the university to request repayment of the scholarship.
8. Refunds
- Students who formally notify their withdrawal from the course during the enrollment period in writing will receive a 90% refund of the course fee.
- Once the enrollment period has ended, no refunds will be issued.
- ATTENTION: A minimum number of enrolled students is required for a group to open. Only in the case of group cancellation by AULAS will the full amount paid be refunded.
