Number of scholarships and endowment
- 430 scholarships for the second semester courses 2025/2026.
The amount of the scholarship will be €300. The granting of the aid implies a €300 reduction in the payment of the fee for the language course to the beneficiary. You only have to pay €75, which includes course materials.
The person requesting the course must pay the tuition fee (€300) if they drop out of the course without giving up the scholarship within the indicated period, do not meet at least 80% attendance, or do not take the evaluation tests. The university will notify the beneficiary of this circumstance so that they can proceed to pay the claimed amount.
Requirements
- Have registered for the courses at the Language Centre (Centro Superior de Idiomas), have made the payment of €75, and have correctly completed and attached form 145 to the application, within the established period.
- Be enrolled in official Bachelor's, Doctoral, or Master's degree studies at the UA at the time of taking the course at the Language Centre.
- Undergraduate students of the University of Alicante have preference to obtain the scholarship. If the grants (430) are not exhausted with applications from undergraduate students, they may be awarded to students enrolled during the 2025/2026 academic year in official Doctoral or Master's studies at the University of Alicante. - In the case of students with tax residence abroad, it will be necessary to submit:
- Supplier registration form
- NIE
- Passport
- Certificate of tax residence: a document issued by the tax authority of the student's country of tax residence to apply the double taxation agreement between Spain and that country.
Application period and procedure
Period: from December 18, 2025 to February 4, 2026 at 1:00 p.m.
Steps to follow for the application:
- Course registration (except for level A1; for the rest of the levels, it is necessary to take a free online level test or have taken an AULAS course in the last two years). https://web.csidiomas.ua.es/aulas/modulares/en/solicitar-inscripcion.asp
- When requesting registration, you receive an email with the link to the enrollment form and the scholarship application (only the €75 administration and material fees are paid).
- In the enrollment form, you must attach:
- A signed responsible declaration, according to this model: responsible declaration
- Form 145 (document communicating data to the payer for personal income tax - IRPF - purposes). https://sri.ua.es/en/movilidad/documentos/idiomas/becas-de-idiomas/2018/modelo-145.pdf.
This document must be correctly completed or there will be no right to a scholarship.
In the case of students with tax residence abroad, it will be necessary to present the Certificate of Tax Residence of their country.

IMPORTANT: If more than 430 people apply for a scholarship, the order of preference depends on the student's academic record, not on the date of the request.
